Chris returned to Australia in the early 80's and his career path to the present

Melbourne - Managing Director Champagne Catering - his own
outside catering company in Brighton.
Chris married Ida Verson in 1988
- a Professional Indemnity Broker, Ida has also had extensive experience in the
catering industry. Ida worked many years in a “hands on” situation in
Restaurants : with O’Briens Catering at the Arts Centre Melbourne and with
Chris at Mustard Catering in Perth. She also worked with an Interior Designer
in Melbourne over several years. Showing a real flair and passion in this area
she has designed house interiors and brings this talent, passion and excellence
into her Wedding planning at Norwood House.

Ida & Chris had a son, Kristian Blair, in 1993.
November 1994 – purchased, at auction - the Morningside Motel, 1198 Nepean
Highway, Mount Eliza, Victoria for the purpose of setting up a Reception
Centre..
Ida retired from her Broking career & joined Chris

They renovated & added the Reception Rooms, Bar and the South Terrace
garden area. - now known as:-
Norwood House Receptions and Motel
Ida & Chris have embraced the Mornington Peninsula - having settled in
Mt Eliza, now call it "Home"
They are proud of their achievements and improvements done at Norwood House and
have pleasure sharing the Venue with all who visit
